The Brief:
A World Cup of Firsts.
In the run-up of the 2022 World Cup, Qatar Airways paired up with football legend David Beckham to show the impact football has at uniting people together all over the world. This campaign aimed to bring out the connection between football and travel and to further build excitement towards the first World Cup in the Middle East.
The campaign was led by a 60s online hero film that shows David Beckham, reflecting on iconic football moments through projections. These clips then show moments of his own World Cup experience and what travelling to the tournament meant to him. This reflection not only reminded us of great moments from the past but made us look forward to the build up of the next World Cup.
